Prove That I’m Wrong
This clever student discovered a way to ensure he gets every answer correct in this “match the beginning and end of a sentence” part of the exam. Rather than making the connecting lines easy to read, the student found a way to connect all the lines so that any answer could be correct. Amazingly, the teacher can’t technically prove that they didn’t match the beginnings and ends of the sentences correctly.
But something tells us that despite the student’s best efforts at outsmarting the test question, the teacher probably didn’t fall for their crafty trick.
Works for Me Every Time
You know the answer is gonna be good when it starts with “I have to be honest with you…” This sincere student went on to explain that they weren’t really paying attention in class the day before and to add to that, they actually couldn’t care less about the entire subject of science. Rather heartwarmingly, the child did admit that they like the teacher, and would like to seek out their advice! They then proceed to explain to the teacher that they have a conundrum when it comes to a girl at school that they have a crush on. Amazingly, the teacher gave them back a hilarious reply.
The teacher simply responded, “Impress her by talking about how atmospheric nitrogen can be used to age artifacts. Works for me every time. Mr. J.”
Watch Your Sugar Levels
Whoever this child is, their parents have taught them well. They understand that eating too much sugar and too many sweets is bad for you and can lead to health problems down the road. To avoid going down the wrong path, you need to recognize the signs that you’re headed in the wrong direction. Since Bob has eaten 29 of his 36 candy bars, this child knows there’s only one thing waiting for Bob at the end of this road – and that’s diabetes.

Where There’s a Will There’s a Way
This school child was faced with some challenging mathematical equations that they simply weren’t confident in solving. So they decided that a little bribery might help tilt things in their favour, and it actually paid off. They wrote to the teacher, “Please note: If I made any mistakes in this test, perhaps this picture of a giraffe will convince you otherwise,” and illustrated a cute little giraffe cartoon greeting the teacher.
Hilariously, the teacher wrote back “Indeed,” and gave them an extra point, proving that sometimes, a little friendly doodle can go a long way to convinving a teacher that you deserve a higher grade.
Not Having Fun
One particular child appears to have been brought to breaking point when asked a simple question in an exam. We can’t even tell whether the kid was being cheeky or just plain honest, as their choice to write the words “HELL” to the question “In a word, describe school” could be a not-so-subtle cry for help. This child even made sure to write the letter large and in bold just so that the perso marking his exam wouldn’t be able to miss it.
Everyone knows that school can be a tough place, but perhaps this kid was being a tad on the dramatic side with their cheeky answer.
A Spelling Wizz
If you ask us, this school child found a way to hack the system. When asked to spell 10 words of their choice that they know how to spell correctly, they plucked seven of them out from the question itself! And the last three words they chose to write out make the answer all the more hilarious for how random they are. Who would have thought that other than spelling out two other numbers, they also know how to spell the word octopus.
We still think that this child deserves kudos for managing to spell out each of the words correctly – they’re only young after all and spelling words correctly requires a certain amount of focus.
A Little Friendly Advice
This adorable kid knew just what to tell his teacher when he found out that she wasn’t feeling well. Instead of sending her some well wishes or message telling her to feel better soon, this child thought they would impart Mrs. Clark with some helpful advice. Apparently, evacuating your bowels is the key to feeling better in no time, and they know from experience. As they wrote, ” I am not kidding. It works with me every morning I feel bad.”
Just in case Mrs. Clark didn’t quite understand this kid’s heartfelt piece of advice, the child kindly added a little illustration of the teacher remembering what to do if she feels bad!
An Undeniable Truth
It can be easy to overlook the most obvious answer in an exam sometimes. You can sit there stressing about trick questions and hidden meanings, but sometimes the answer is pretty much sitting in your lap. At least, that’s what this kid thought when he finished the sentence, “Upon ascending the throne the first thing Queen Elizabeth II did was to… sit down.” It’s a genius response that probably didn’t earn the extra points it deserves.
After all, it can’t be argued that the queen didn’t immediately sit on the throne upon ascending it. All this kid did was simply point out the obvious.
A Fresh Take on Biology
We love it when exams show just how wild a child’s imagination is. This image is a perfect example of that, as the child has gone completely left field when faced with this science quesion. When asked to draw a plant cell and identify it’s most important parts, they illustrated a sad faced flower looking out from the cell of a jail, making sure the label the fact that it is trapped behind iron bars and in a windowless room.
We have to give it up to the student for giving this question his best, even if he was totally off the mark with this one.
Confidence Is Key
This particular student was either too lazy to right a longer response and therefore settled on this cheeky reply, or they’re a genius who knew exactly what they were doing when they responded with “This” to the question “Write an example of a risk.” Whatever it is that compelled them to write it, their gamble paid off as it earned them a great big red tick and undoubtedly, more points in the exam.
It takes a student with a lot of guts to write a one word answer to section of a papet that expects more, but as the saying goes, “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
The Mind Boggles
When this paper asked the students to name the quadrilaterals, they weren’t expecting the kids to give them first names. However, one student misunderstood the assignment and went about giving each shape a normal name, like Bob and Sam, sometimes even misspelling others (like Harry). We wonder what parameters this child was using to decide on each name, as all they had to go on was shape, colour and size.
Perhaps this child felt an aura emanating from each of the shapes that led them to each name. Either way, we’ll never truly know what was going through that child’s mind.
Never Lose Faith
It’s hard to say whether or not this child was trying to their own type of door-to-door preaching through the means of an exam paper, or whether they were simply trying to curry favour with a particularly devout teacher. Either way, it’s hilarious that for every maths question they were asked to answer they simply wrote “JESUS,” and included a huge drawing of a cross along with the headline, “JESUS IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER.”
Unless the person marking the exam was on the same wavelength, they probably weren’t marked favorably for these exam answers. But this child’s unwavering faith is nonetheless respectable.
Not a Believer
Unfortunately for this teacher, this school child wasn’t about to fall for make believe stores any time soon. The question asked how many ghosts would remain if one ghost flew away, but rather than subtracting the missing ghost from the total, this child decided to rely on science and in doing so, teach the teacher a lesson as well. They confidently replied that there would be 0 ghosts left, “Because ghosts are not real.” You can’t argue with that.
We wonder whether or not the child got a mark for his critical thinking skills, or whether he lost out for having not been able to believe the scenario.
Giraffes Get a Bad Rap
We can’t help but fall in love with the practical approach this child took. When faced with a multiple choice question this student decided that non of the potential answers were accurate enough, and decided to cancel all four options out altogether. Instead, what they deduced from the three-part illustrartion was that, simply put, “Giraffes are heartless creatures.” Clearly, the drawings of them eating from the trees and not sharing the food with their shorter counterparts was too much for this student to bear.
To be fair, the illustration of the smaller giraffe losing out to the taller giraffes is a bit dark for a children’s quiz, however correct it might be.
Put a Ring on It
The influence of pop culture on the youth can’t be overestimated. But it’s still quite a leap to to seeing a student answer an exam question with a reference to. beyonce song. When asked “Why are there rings on Saturn?” this particular student jokingly replied “Becuase God liked it, so he put a ring on it.” Hilariously, the teacher marking the paper had a witty comeback answer too, simply replying that “Saturn was NOT a single lady.”
What this demonstrates is that the influence of Beyonce is so large that both students and teachers alike can communicate through references to her songs.
Stay in School
It can be hard to understand the context of this exam question based off of how this student answered, but we can assure you that it was a maths question that required some mental arithmetic to correctly solve. But this student understood the question to be more conversational and hilariously replied that Jason was “High enough to do something that stupid.” Clearly, there’s been a failure in communication between both parties.
It seems as though this student had a totally different subject on his mind while he was taking this paper, and it couldn’t help but reflect in their school work.
Simple Solutions
If you suspect that the younger generation spend too much time watching movies and playing video games, this might just be the proof you were looking for. In reply to question “what do you think is the best solution to overpopulation?” they rather hilariously answered, “The Hunger Games,” referencing the dystopian movie series of the same name. If you want to look on the bright side, perhaps they were referencing the novels instead.
Either way, it’s a pretty dark answer to innocent exam question, as it suggest that people should be forced to compete in a lethal televised event where only one person comes out alive.
Mum’s the Word
Either one of two situations happened here. Either the student was feeling a bit cheeky on the day when they decided to write this answer on a school test, or they geniuinely believed that “free press” refers to when your mum irons trousers for you. Unlikely for this student, the question wasn’t enquiring about laundry chores around the house, they were asking them to explain the term that’s come to represent unbiased media.
Here’s hoping that one day this kid learns about what free press is and its role in creating a democratic society. Until then, at least they’ll be looking smart in their ironed pants.
Way Above My Pay Grade
When this student was asked the daunting question, “How might Colombia solve the problem of guerrillas trying to control the country?” They gave the rather honest reply, “If a country can’t figure it out, how can I?” We’re certain that they knew they weren’t being asked to fix international issues, but clearly they had had just about enough of being quizzed on challenging political matters. Sometimes, you just have to hold your hands up and admit that it’s way above your pay grade.
What we love most about this funny answer is that it highlights how some exam questions can expect way too much out of the students taking them, and this kid knew it.
One for the Books
We appreciate that this child has somewhat of a grasp on social issues, it would seem. But they gave the wrong answer when asked, “What do we call the science of classifying living things,” to which the correct answer was “taxonomy.” They took a different approach to the biology question, which saw them give a hilarious wrong answer that the teacher no doubt couldn’t help but take a photo of to remember it.
Maybe this student will go on to become a future social rights activist, as judging by his answer, he’s got an interesting perspective to share with the world!
It’s All About Perspective
We don’t know what’s funnier, the fact that this student answered this mathematical question they way that they did, or the big red “0” that the teacher marked his answer. The student interpreted the infinity symbol at the end of the samply equation as an eight that had been turned on it’s side, so naturally that led them to the belief that the answer to the unfinished equation must also require a number written on it’s side.
It’s a hilarious mistake to make – that or it’s a last ditch attempt by this student to give any type of answer no matter how unlikely it is to be true.
Math Made Easy
When this student wasn’t confronted with the task of finding x in a math paper, they quickly figured out that the answer was staring them right in the face. There was no need for a complicated mathematical equation to find out the length of one side of the triangle, rather, all they needed to do was show the teacher that they knew exactly where x was. As we can see, x has been clearly circled and identified – what could go wrong?
We have to admit, it’s a funny answer to give in an exam if you don’t know how to properly work out the value of x, and we appreciate this funny answer.
Let Me Illustrate It
Sometimes kids can give the funniest exam responses, and nothing demonstrates that more than this. In the case of these questions, the child answered the first question correctly, identifying Bobby as the child who had more pennies than Amy. But when asked the show how they deduced this to be the answer, they misinterpreted the question and illustrated a picture of them quite literally thinking. It wasn’t the correct answer, but it’s absolutely hilarious nontheless.
This child clearly wasn’t familiar yet with the idea that you have to show how you arrive at an answer in a way that proves you understood the question, but it’s an adorable answer all the same.
Peter the Joker
The question asked the student to expand an arithmetic equation, but the student decided to take a different approach this time around. When asked to expand an equation the child simply increased the space between the letters, prompting the teacher to remark “Very funny” in what seems to be a sarcastic tone. There’s no doubt that Peter didn’t get marks for his answer to this question, but something tells us that he walked away with a quiet satisfaction regardless.
It sounds like Peter might be something of a class clown, judging by the confidence with which he gives cheeky test answers.
Practical Advice
This kid clearly wasn’t in the mood for chat on the day when he was asked to answer this test question. When asked how they would solve a problem that sw them falling on the floor and scratching their leg, they replied that the solution was just to “get up and deal with it.” It’s a practical approach to an age-old problem, but it’s probably not the answer that the teacher was hoping for.
That being said, sometimes children just aren’t in the mood to give descriptive answers, and this hilarious test answer is definitely an example of that.
There’s a Simple Explanaition
This student wasn’t interested in giving any convoluted reasons for this test question. The question stated, “Alice places a perepared slide on her microscope. but when she looks into it, she can’t see anything. Suggest one reason why not.” To which the student simply replied, “She is blind.” We have to admit, that is one potentially correct answer to the question, but it almost definitly didn’t get the marks.
That being said, we’re impressed with this school child’s ability to think outside of the box and provide an answer that could, quite literally, explain why Alice couldn’t see anything.
Not Beating Around the Bush
The one who set this question in the exam probably didn’t expect such a brutally honest answer. But that’s exactly what this kid gave when he illustrated a picture of his future grave. The reality is that most people don’t make it to over 100 years old, and this child was smart enough to know it. That’s why instead of drawing a picture of themselves as a very old person, they simply drew the most realistic answer.
We doubt that this school teacher thought that they would be met with such a hilariously existential answer to an innocent test question from one of their pupils.
A Literal Set of Answers
We don’t know how this kid got away with it, but an entire exam’s worth of cheeky answers appears to have worked in this student’s favour as the teacher graded them with an A+ for creativity. To every question that this test asked, the student had a witty answer to reply to it, which almost definately wasn’t the answer the that the paper was actually looking for. That being said, it took a lot of intelligence to answer the way that this student did!
We love to see the encouraging remark that the teacher gave the student, recognising that even though they didn’t answer the exam questions correctly, they should be praised for their other talents.
An Answer for Everything
This hilarious answer proves that the child was thinking a little too literally during this math exam. When asked to find the difference between the numbers 8 and 6, they innocently replied that “eight is all curly, six is not.” We can’t knock their answer; they are techinically correct! But it’s just not the type of equation solving that their teacher was hoping for at the end of the day.
Funnily enough, the student got the other questions correct in this maths exam, so maybe this hilarious answer was just a one off.
Smarty Pants
Some kids can’t help themselves by letting out their inner smart ass. This kid may or may not have known the right answer to the question, but either way decided to go with this rather cheeky answer to the question “What ended in 1896?” We’re almost certain that the last thing the teacher would have expected to find was the answer “1895.” That being said, the kid did technically answer correctly!
Perhaps this was just a last-ditch attempt to put something down; after all, we’re all taught that any answer is better than no answer when in doubt.
Just Using Common Sense
Exams can be frustrating because they might ask you to explain a fact you just know to be true. It can feel long-winded to have to provide a written explanation as to how you arrived at an answer, but it’s what has to be done to get the mark. But this student just wasn’t in any mood to be underestimated. They clearly don’t like being talked down to, as evidenced by their reply that reads, “Because I am not an idiot.”
Maybe this child is just far beyond the abilities of their peers, and this answer is the sign that they need to be in a more challenging class.
Honesty’s the Best Policy
This child was feeling particularly honest on the day they took this test. When asked to complete the sentence, “I earn money at home by…” Frankie chose not to play along with the role-play or invent a story about earning pocket money. Instead, Frankie opted to tell the truth: they definitely don’t do anything to earn money and are perfectly content in their life as a freeloader to their family.
After all, we can definitely see the appeal of living off of the bank of mum and dad. As far as we’re concerned, enjoy it while you can!
Mathematical Genius in the Making
It can be hard for school students to remember all the formulas that they are taught in school. That’s when thinking on the spot can come in handy like it did for this student, who clearly didn’t remember the necessary steps they needed to take to find the correct answer to the math problem. Instead, they decided to take the question at face value and amend it so that they came out with some kind of answer in the end.
While they may not have been on the right track, we can’t help but respect the kid for trying even if they were completely off the mark.
Take Some Advice From Me
We wonder where this child got this piece of relationship advice. When asked the question, “How would you make a marriage work?” they answered, “Tell your wife she loks pretty, even if she looks like a dump truck.” Perhaps no one taught the kid about how to maintain a marriage and they simply figured it out for themself. Sometimes, children learn best by the examples that others set for them!
That being said, we’re scratching our heads wondering why such an out-of-place question was even asked in a school exam in the first place.
Outsmarting the Examination Board
Not all children are prone to irrationality and nonsense. This particular child proved to the world that all that’s needed is some simple logic to get you through a school exam. Rather than having to apply mental arithmatic skills or do some complicated calculations, sometimes the most obvious answer is sufficient. At least, that’s what this school kid was thinking when he wrote the word “ball” after marking the answer “1 foot.”
We think that this child derseves to get extra points for his unassailable logic, but something tells us that he lost a mark on this question!
Brimming With Confidence
This child obviously experienced a confidence boost after going through all the questions in the exam. We can see that they got the first few questions on the page correct, and can only assume that as they knew the answers to the questions they were being asked, they started to feel a bit cocky about their intelligence, prompting them to answer the last question the way they did. When asked how they know if a number is an even number or an odd number, they replied “Because I’m smart.”
That may very well be true, but they weren’t smart enough to know that that wasn’t the correct answer, as the teacher who marked the paper pointed out.
You Can’t Argue With Facts
Perhaps the person who write this examination should have worded their question more carefully, as the funny answer that this kid gave to the question, “Where was the American Declaration of Independence signed?” was techinically correct. The answer they were looking for was the Pennsylvania State House, which was later renamed Independence Hall, in the state of Philadelphia. But this child answered “At the bottom,” which is also hard to argue with.
The fact of the matter is that the kid who wrote this answer is factually correct, and since the American Declaration of Independence still exists, it can be easily proved!
